In March of 2004, the Melay Hotel
was acquired by Jane and Esref who have instigated many changes, not least
of all that it has merged together with the Club Atrium next door, giving
the guests use of even more facilities, including a second swimming pool
and the popular Sports Bar with TV showing all the Sky channels.
Being English-run, the activities and entertainment are all geared to English
taste and children are particularly well catered-for.
The Melay Hotel is
L-shaped around its large swimming pool, has a fantastic sunbathing area
and a lovely children's
play area which has its entrance from the beer garden, so mum and dad can
relax and enjoy a drink whilst watching the kids playing. Reception has money-changing
facilities and safety deposit boxes (payable locally). There is also a TV
lounge, indoor restaurant and games room with pool table and table tennis
and regular evening entertainment is organised. New additions to the facilities
are the a-la-carte restaurant, Bingo bar, Turkish Bath, beauty salon, hairdressers
and male and female massage.
The twin-bedded rooms (all can
take a 3rd bed) have air-conditioning (payable locally), telephone, TV,
en-suite shower & WC,
hairdryer and a balcony. This is a great choice for families, with entertainment
for adults and children, together with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Board is offered on a Bed & Turkish Breakfast basis.
71 rooms on 3 floors
