This lovely guesthouse on Lighthouse Beach has recently been extended and now boasts 28 rooms and a new restaurant, which overlooks the ocean. However, the relaxing ambience remains unchanged and the management encourages staff to be friendly and welcoming.

The Sea View’s tailoring shop, located to the side of the property, is a definite asset, it’s so easy to get carried away and have a new wardrobe made up for a fraction of the cost it would be in the UK. The property is well tended with many potted plants dotted around, trees and coconut palms. The simply furnished, twin-bedded rooms have a wardrobe, table and chairs, mirror and en-suite SH&WC, the large, ornately designed windows open out onto a balcony/terrace area where each room is allocated a carved wood settee with comfortable cushions. This area often receives a cooling sea breeze and is ideal for chilling out at the end of the day and watching the sun go down.

Accommodation is offered on a Room Only basis, breakfast can be taken at the hotel’s restaurant (payable locally). An excellent base in a fantastic location with friendly helpful staff.
