This is a new addition to the Jewel in the Crown portfolio and the reason we have selected this hotel is due its quiet location on the borders of Calangute/Candolim. It is situated just off the main Candolim road, past the Little Italy restaurant and the Shruti Hotel.

This 20 room hotel is built on the edge of the sand dunes, bordered by a small stream on the right. During November 2007, a swimming pool was added with plenty of space to sunbathe. The hotel has a restaurant and bar serving the pool.

Adjacent to the pool, there is a gate onto the sand dunes where you can walk down to the beach passing several ancient Goan houses, with pigs and chickens running under your feet as you gently walk past these ancient structures. The beach is quiet with several beach shacks. For the regular Goan holidaymaker this is the Candolim type quiet beach as opposed to the busy Calangute beach. Once you turn left on the beach and walk down, you are on the wide and quieter Candolim beach, which is superb.

This hotel is ideal for people who want the bars and restaurants at their fingertips yet the quiet location of a small and friendly hotel.

All rooms have ensuite shower & WC, a small balcony and ceiling fan. Air-conditioning and fridges are included. Televisions are availabile on request, subject to availability and payable locally. All rooms are offered on Bed and Continental Breakfast basis. This small and friendly hotel has easy access to the beach, less than 100 metres away, and is highly recommended.
