Failaka is a traditional Goan guest house in the village of Benaulim. The village itself is small and has a restaurant and several shops, but the local buses pass through so for the adventurous it's easy to explore the delights of South Goa, with Margao being 6 km away and Colva just 2 km. Benaulim beach is under 2 km away, easily accessible by taxi for a cost of approximately £1.50 or for the more energetic, a good 20 minutes' walk.

The Failaka is run by Hamilton and his family and although it has not changed in years, the fact that they take great pride in their property is very much in evidence and it is spotlessly clean. There are just 16 rooms in total served by a small bar and restaurant. All the rooms have a double bed, en-suite shower & WC and balcony. This guesthouse offers simple, clean accommodation and is a great base from which to explore South Goa. Accommodation is offered on bed and continental breakfast basis.
